Description:  GRAMCORD (GRAMmatical conCORDance) is a Greek/Hebrew specialized Bible Study program (see also BibleWorks and Bible Windows). Here's the description from GRAMCORD: "GRAMCORD for Windows is a powerful Bible research program for Greek and Hebrew original language texts and the many modern English Bibles. While famous for its scholarly uses as a grammatical/syntactical concordance system, most of the students, pastors, and professors who use GRAMCORD depend on it for its powerful desktop arrangement of parallel Greek/Hebrew/English Bibles, word concordances, Greek/Hebrew lexicons and dictionaries, and related Bible study tools -- as well as exporting Bible passages into word-processing documents."

GRAMCORD currently uses the Loizeaux Brother's Bible Companion engine (BCS version 2), and adds an extensive GRAMCORD search template to provide morphological search capabilities for the Hebrew and Greek modules provided. It looks very powerful, and includes many of the standard public domain Bible Study works, as well as the option to add in modern translations. The GRAMCORD Institute is currently working with Heavenword and is looking at potentially using the Lightning engine to replace BCS.

I did not have a review copy of GRAMCORD, so information in this review is based on information on the web page. The full features of GRAMCORD are not expressed here. You should certainly check out the web page if you are looking for a Greek/Hebrew study tool.

GRAMCORD also supports Accordance for Macintosh computers, and GRAMCORD Lite for Palm, Windows CE, and Pocket PC.

GRAMCORD uses Loizeaux Brother's Bible Companion software as the reader engine. It includes a GRAMCORD search template that allows you to search on Tense, Voice, Mood, and more. Bible Companion is a multi-window interface.

4. Search:

GRAMCORD provides the ability to (from the website): "search not just lexically (i.e. for particular Greek and Hebrew words), but also for grammatical and syntactical characteristics.
